Saturday, September 19th:
6:30am -8:00am (set-up),
8:00am - 10:30am (event support),
11am-1pm (clean-up),
Event support volunteers support help with Registration & Check-In, Water Stations, Route Monitor/Cheer Stations, Route Entertainment, and more to make this a fun event for everyone!
Whether you’re setting up tables, cheering on walkers along the route, handing out water, or helping us pack things up at the end, every role plays a big part in bringing this special community event to life. Your time and energy will help create a meaningful experience for families, caregivers, and everyone affected by Alzheimer’s. The community of Santa Cruz is very special and this walk is a place where those who lost someone, is caring for, or has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's or dementia comes together to be part something powerful that will lead to advancing research, providing care and support, and reducing the risk of dementia. You may leave tired but we promise you’ll leave inspired and proud.
