Opportunity Details
We are looking for friendly volunteers to work in our thrift store! We resell gently used clothing and household items and use the funds to give grants to local non-profit programs. Our shop in Aptos is run by a team of volunteers.
The shop is open from 12pm-4pm daily and volunteer shifts are 4 hours.
We need volunteers for the following weekly shifts:
Thursdays from 2:30 to 6:00pm
Fridays from 2:30 to 6:00pm
Sundays from 12:00 to 4:00pm
As a volunteer you will learn how to work with our cash and credit card machine. Volunteers maintain the look of the shop, sort and price merchandise, occasionally clean a little bit, but mostly greet and communicate with our friendly customers. The volunteer will always be accompanied by another volunteer.
