Opportunity Details
Volunteers will be providing logistical support as well as encouragement/coaching for bike rides that we provide to youth that may otherwise not have an opportunity to ride bikes. Loading bikes on our trailer, fitting participants with helmets/bikes, riding with the group and providing encouragement and perhaps coaching - "here's how you shift gears" are typical repsonsibilites.
Volunteers will be needed according to the schedule of bike rides. This schedule is not fixed, it is by appointment. Please check our calendar for currently scheduled rides. https://
The shift length will be approximately 4-6 hours.
This is the perfect volunteer project for you if you are a, clear communicator, comfortable with joyful chaos, can ride a bike and can help others learn, can relate to youth, create a fun atmosphere, and be a good role model.
