Community Bike Collective is rooted in our community, equity and justice. Our programming is FREE to local youth, families and community members. We focus under-resourced and under-served youth in Santa Cruz County. If kids don’t know how to ride, we teach them. If they need a helmet, we give them one. We implement life-changing programs for local youth and families. Many of our youth have never seen a redwood tree or been to the beach! We engage youth through learning in action with hands-on activities including bike skills, life skills, self-care, community-care, healthy living and local history. We connect youth to the joys of bike riding and foster a love of LIFE. We connect youth to important community resources, encourage their involvement in advocacy, and provide opportunities for leadership development. We always acknowledge each youth for a quality that has a positive impact on the group and the community. Your support makes these impactful programs happen.
