Distribute Food With Second Harvest

Second Harvest Food Bank has opportunities throughout the week and across the County to help get food to those in need!

Since the onset of the pandemic, we have seen an enormous increase in demand at food distributions across the country. Santa Cruz County is no different in this regard. At the same time, volunteer numbers have been unstable. For those who wish to get involved directly, Second Harvest Food Bank, our region's largest food bank, hosts a wide range of opportunities, from small neighborhood distributions to mass events at the Fairgrounds. Your help is appreciated!
Volunteers 16 years and older must show proof of vaccination when volunteering indoors like our warehouse shifts. Proof includes CDC-issued vaccines cards, a photo copy of the card or a picture on your cellphone of the card.
