Become a Holiday Helper by giving to the often forgotten seniors in care facilities in Santa Cruz County. It’s the time of year when our community comes together to ensure all have a special and memorable holiday season. Please help us to make the holiday special for our seniors.
Holiday Helpers is now accepting donations and wrapped gifts and will do so through December 9th.
Gifts suggestions include: lap blankets, scarves, slippers, slipper sox, socks, shirts, stuffed animals, lotions, calendars, crossword puzzles, word search, adult coloring books, etc. Please mark wrapped packages male or female, with sizes, ready for delivery to the care facility residents. It’s nice seeing the smile on their faces when they open up their gifts! Cash donations are also appreciated and can be made through our website or mailed to Family Service Agency/I-You Venture.
Please drop off all gifts on the following dates (10am - 6pm):
Saturday, December 6th and Sunday December 7th from 10am - 6pm
Wednesday, December 10th and Thursday, December 11th from 10am - 6pm
Volunteer Center / Adopt-A-Family Donation Center, Attn: FSA/I-You Venture,
Capitola Mall (old Sears storefront)
*The donation center is closed on Monday and Tuesday (Dec. 8th and 9th)
