Organization Profile

Pajaro Valley Pride

Pajaro Valley Pride was created by a group of Watsonville residents who are eager to serve the LGBTQ+ community in the area, and to help build bridges with the general community in south county. Part of our efforts include providing resources to our under-resourced community in the form of scholarships to local LGBTQ2S+ youth that aspire to pursue higher education. We want to foster our leaders and provide them with the support, confidence, and resources needed to help them aim for long-term goals. Our long-term goal is to help transform the city of Watsonville and the south county area into a community that accepts and celebrates all forms of diversity. We want our work and movement to make an otherwise conservative south county a safe and thriving environment for the LGBTQ2S+ community to be seen without stigma or prejudice. Our mission includes opening an LGBTQ2S+ resource center and space in south county for our community to develop and thrive in. We hope and ask for your participation throughout our efforts to put Pajaro Valley Pride, and help us make it a great event for the whole family!
