The Special Needs Consortium is a consortium of non-profits sharing ideas and resources to achieve common goals that benefit people with disabilities and their families in the greater Monterey area. Our consortium serves eight non profit organizations: Easter Seals, Star Riders, Multiple Sclerosis, Jacobs Heart, Kernes Adaptive Aquatics, Special Kids Crusade, Salinas Circle, and Project Playroom. We seek volunteers to work directly and indirectly with people with disabilities and their families. Volunteers are needed to assist with staffing special events, promotions, art projects, clerical as well as construction/repairs/maintenance of buildings associated with these organizations on an ongoing basis
