Santa Cruz County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES)

We provide communications services throughout the county during emergencies and disasters both to assist the citizens in impacted areas to stay in communication as well as to provide backup and supplemental communications to the county and first responders. We also support communications for many public service events (such as bike races) particularly when they go into areas of the county with poor communications infrastructure.
