Community Coastal Clean Up at Twin Lakes

Help us give Twin Lakes Beach a fresh start after the Fourth of July! Holiday celebrations often leave behind a surprising amount of litter, and we need your help to remove it before it can wash into the ocean.

Volunteers will walk the beach and surrounding neighborhood, collecting trash and recording what they find. No experience is needed, and all cleanup supplies will be provided. If possible, please consider bringing your own reusable gloves, buckets or bags, coffee mugs, and water bottles—the environment will thank you!

Wear comfortable shoes and bring anything you'll want for a morning outdoors, such as water, snacks, sunscreen, and a hat. We'll have coffee, water, and cookies available for volunteers.

Come spend a few hours making a visible difference for our community and coastline while meeting other people who care about keeping our beaches clean. Every piece of litter collected helps protect marine life and keeps Santa Cruz beautiful.
