An invite to a special volunteer event hosted by Community Connections and The Volunteer Center!
We will be revamping the Friendship Garden and bocci ball court in Harvey West Park on June 24th.
This is a space dedicated to people with disabilities and everyone in Santa Cruz.
We will be joining Be The People and Giving Tuesday in a nationwide effort to mobilize people to give back to their communities. These organizations will be highlighting the Volunteer Center and Community Connections and sending a crew out to capture the day!
Here is some info about the event, we hope you can make it for a portion or the entirety of the event.
What: Volunteer for Mental Health: Day in the Park
Where: Harvey West Park/Community Connections 300 Harvey West Blvd.
When: June 24, 2026 9:15am-12:15pm
Who: CC/VC, Parks and Rec, The Santa Cruz Warriors To celebrate our volunteer efforts we will have music, food, and games in the park. Hope to see you there!
