Opportunity Details
We all need to be prepared for the unexpected emergency! We're committed to helping 10,000 people in our community create a plan and talk to their friends and family about what they will do if they need help during a natural disaster or other emergency situation.
We're looking for volunteers that like to get out in the community and talk to people! Join us as we bring resources and materials to senior centers, housing developments, community events and anywhere that people want to get together and talk about their future. Volunteers give a 15-minute presentation or talk to people 1-on-1 or in small groups. Each event is unique!
Materials and training are being provided by LISTOS California and the Volutneer Center of Santa Cruz County and volunteers will be a part of our local teams in Santa Cruz and Monterey counties.
