Join a team of local compassionate advocates in Santa Cruz County to help enroll our unhoused neighbors in Miracle Messages programs, and work to build a supportive network in our community. Miracle Messages Chapters embody grassroots compassion in action. In this role, you will help neighbors access transformative resources and relationships and strengthen the whole community in the process. In other regions across the country, Chapters have established hubs of trust that lead to dozens of reconnections, new relationships and profound shifts in local attitudes towards homelessness. Be at the heart of systemic change in Santa Cruz County Connect directly with people experiencing homelessness Build leadership and organizing skills while creating a more compassionate community.
We are thrilled to explore how you can join our mission to end relational poverty and help people experiencing homelessness feel seen, heard and loved. Volunteering with us is about transforming lives through connection and building community. All volunteers attend an orientation before they begin and receive ongoing support.
