Boulder Creek Land Tending Volunteers

Please join us for a land tending work session at the Grace Gallery in Boulder Creek. The types of jobs we need done include weed-wacking, pruning, green waste removal, and prepping the native plant beds for planting. The majority of this volunteer work is hard but gratifying physical labor on the Museum grounds. Most jobs will require lifting, squatting and bending, walking and a full morning out in the sun, wind, or other weather.

Be ready for your volunteer shift by bringing the following gear with you:

  • Water bottle
  • Sun hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Work clothes (ones you don’t mind getting dirty or worn out)
  • Work tools (pruners, shears, weed whacker, rake etc)
  • Sturdy shoes
  • Gloves
  • Snacks
We will be focusing on all areas around the historic church building and tending to Flora - a living exhibition of native plants. Check out our land tending tips here.
