Youth River Health Day

Join YouthSERVE and the Coastal Watershed Council and plant and maintain native seedlings along the banks of the San Lorenzo River to increase biodiversity and revitalize the river ecosystem! Middle School and High School students are invited to come and learn about the the raparian ecosystem and get dirty removing invasive plants and planting native plants!
Volunteers must dress in comfortable gardening clothes, including long pants, socks and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Bring layers, sun protection and a reusable water bottle. Gloves, tools and light refreshments will be provided. All abilities welcome - no prior experience needed! 
Parents, siblings and family members are welcome to attend with a teen.

Volunteers under the age of 18 must complete the YouthSERVE permission form on our website HERE or email John Shamoun at jshamoun@scvolunteercenter.org
