The Santa Cruz SPCA is actively recruiting for new board members!
If you’re an animal lover, have a community service gene, can claim leadership skills —we’d love to hear from you!
Board membership means you are part of the team that finds loving homes for hundreds of animals, runs a thriving pet food pantry that keeps pets with their loving companions, offers youth education programs to encourage a kind and humane future; and provides a Senior Pets for Senior People wellness and adoption initiative.
As a Santa Cruz SPCA Board member you would:
You should be willing to spend 8-12 hours per month on board duties. These include prepping for and attending board and committee meetings, where you will take an active part in discussions, decision-making, and other committee work. Additionally, you will attend community and donor events and act as an advocate for the organization.
