Train to be a peer counselor & reduce isolation for homebound seniors!
If you are 55 or older, you are eligible to attend a free, seven week training to become a volunteer peer counselor for seniors. During the training, you will learn active-listening and counseling skills and gain a better understanding of how to access community resources for seniors.

Following a 7 week training, you will participate in twice monthly meetings to gain new skills and to provide support and encouragement from other counselors.

Who can be a counselor?
Our counselors are a widely varied group of men and women volunteers, ages 55 and above, who are united by their desire to serve our senior community. Join this friendly group of dedicated volunteers providing a vital peer counseling service to homebound seniors
