Packing Volunteers:
We are looking for volunteers to help pack bags for Community Connectioon program participants who are part of the Food distribution program.
Every Wednesday from 11am-3pm in Santa Cruz.
Upon arrival we will distribute those responsible for what product to put in each bag (for example, if you are assigned to handle bread, it will be your responsibility to put bread in the bags, etc.). After packing we will talk with the drivers about distribution and to where.
Drivers:
Drivers will help distribute bagged food to our participants, if you have a preferred place please let us know. After the delivery, we highly recommend that you return to the 300 Harvey West location to return any leftover bags and/or completion of your mileage reimbursement form.
Delivery locations are for Watsonville and Santa Cruz. May be homes of program participants.
You must have a valid CA driver's license and register in advance and show proof of insurance.
Estimated delivery time depends on the amount of food recipients, which should average roughly two hours.
Mileage reimbursement is available at $0.30/mile.
