Do you like to be in the know about what's happening in our community?
At the Volunteer Center we partner with hundreds of nonprofits and community groups each year to help them connect with volunteers. We connect thousands of volunteers with community projects that align with their skills and interests.
We are always looking for new projects to share with our volunteer network.
You can help us by reading nonprofit newsletters and reaching out to nonprofit partners to connect them with volunteers.
You have to be comfortable using Gmail and have your own device that is connected to the internet. You can do this at anytime of day and in short increments. We will set you up with an email address and give you email templates to reach out to community partners.
This is a new volunteer position with us, so we will work together to figure out the best way to stay in communication with each other. We would likely ask for a weekly email update and a phone call or zoom meeting once a month to check in.
