2022 Adopt a Family Workshop Elves

Are you looking for an easy way to get into the holiday spirit this year?
Our Adopt a Family program helps over 450 local families have a wonderful Christmas season!

We are in need of volunteers in our donation center to help with intake of donations, sorting donations, and making sure that gifts make it into the hands of the agencies that will be delivering holiday packages to families this year.

Tasks for outdoor volunteers include:
  • helping donors with curbside drop-off - bringing packages inside
  • greeting donors and checking in gifts
Tasks for indoor volunteers include:
  • labeling or wrapping gifts
  • confirming gifts are sorted and lebeled so they get to the right child
  • taking inventory of items donated
  • completing donor paperwork
We recommend this project for kids over 10 - as it is sometimes difficult for younger kids to spend so much time in the warehouse.

Thursday - Monday donors will be coming to drop off their packages.
Tuesday - Friday volunteers sort, label and distribute gifts.
Afternoon shift on Friday, December 16th is clean-up.

Indoor volunteers are required to wear a mask while volunteering for this project.

Please note - when you sign up you will have an opportunity to leave a comment if you have any requests or concerns. You can list people that will join you or request to modify your shift start or end time.
