Opportunity Details
Help to feed 100 people in the community a nutritious, substantial, delicious meal! Assistance is needed in various food preparations and cooking. Tasks include food prep, lunch service, dishwashing, and daily kitchen cleaning chores.
As a PVLF kitchen volunteer, you will improve your skills in preparing quality ingredients and delicious meals on a large scale. Learning opportunities include food safety, culinary arts, food justice work, kitchen management, Spanish language, and opportunities to make new friends and broaden your connection to the community.
AM Shift: 8am-11AM
Lunch Service: 12:00-1:00
PM Shift: 1pm-4pm
Our food pantry provides staple dried foods and fresh produce to thousands of local families! As a Pantry Assistant with Pajaro Valley Loavse & Fishes, you will directly assist families and individuals in need by stocking, packing, and distributing groceries to our community. Some other tasks include mainting supply, cleanliness and organization of pantry areas, as well as assiting in open/ closing set up and take down of produce items for refridgeration storage.

PM Shift: 1pm-3:30pm
