Our mission is to build healthy communities through food. Our purpose is to provide critically and chronically ill people in Santa Cruz County with home-delivered, medically tailored meals.
Delivery Angels are one of the most essential volunteer positions at Teen Kitchen Project, because they are responsible for making sure that the meals our teens prepare are delivered promptly and with love to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Schedule and Time Committment:
Delivery hours are from 12:30 to 3pm - many routes take less time, but meal pick up is always at 12:30pm.
We especially need drivers on Tuesday or Thursday. Most drivers choose one day a week. We need volunteers who can commit to 3 months (or longer). We can plan around vacations or other obligations.
Volunteers use their own vehicles and are responsible for gas. We require a background check at no cost to the volunteer.
