Opportunity Details
Join the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County mental health divion, Communiy Connection to deliver 125 meals and gift bags (art therapy kits and Warrior's bobbleheads) to adults living alone and struggling with a serious mental illness. The holidays can be an especially difficult time for your neighbiors who are isolated and underserved and this year is made even more difficult as we can't gather together to celebrate. You can bring warmth and kindness to someone who would otherwise be unable to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.
Meal delivery will take place on Monday, November 23.
Volunteers will pick up meals at a restaurant or grocery store in Watsonville and deliver gift bags and meals to individuals living in Watsonville. Deliveries will take place between 12pm and 5pm.
When you register you will be assigned to a few delivery locations that are in the same neighborhood.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 12+, Minimum Age:18+
