Opportunity Details
The San Lorenzo Valley Museum is currently looking for a bookkeeper to reconcile the the Museum's financial records. The bookkeeper will become familiar with organization's financial processes and using the Museum's QuickBooks for Non-profits database, record financial transactions, generate checks, invoices, and pay bills, and generate financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) for the Board of Directors. On occasion the volunteer would may also be asked to attend the monthly Board meeting to explain the financial reports.
Desired Volunteer Skills and Qualifications: An experienced bookkeeper with competency in QuickBooks, Financial reporting, and Excel. Non-profit experience a plus.
Volunteer is needed 4-6 hours per month, to be arranged by agreement.
Training: Training will be provided.
