Opportunity Details
Come help unload, organize, or distribute food with us!
Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:30am-11:30am: Unload deliveries from Second Harvest and stack shelves; prepare bags and boxes for different needs. 10 volunteers needed for each shift.
Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 9am-11am or 11am-1pm: Assist with preparation and distribution. Find and pass on produce items and other fresh foods to add to bags, as requested. Four volunteers needed for each shift.
Youth aged 12+ are welcome with an adult. Masks and gloves are required for volunteering; gloves are provided, but please bring your own mask. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
We are also looking for:
- People to help pick up donations from stores and farms at other times
- A supervisor to be trained to interview clients and record personal details as requested by Second Harvest on a tablet Wednesday/Friday/Sunday (IT skills needed)
