Natural Bridges State Beach is recruiting volunteers for the Fall 2022 Docent Monarch Butterfly Training Class!
 
  • Learn interesting information
  • Join our team of wonderful park volunteers
  • Become a park steward and Marine Protector
  • Share about monarchs and connect visitors with the park
  • Encourage Monarch habitat enhancement at the park & inland homes
Jobs include:
  • Leading tours for elementary school children and the general public.
  • Sharing the monarchs with a spotting scope and by roving in the grove.
  • Maintaining the aquarium, butterfly garden, greenhouse & new trees.
  • Welcoming visitors in the Visitor Center, greeting visitors on the beach.
  • Preparing and participating in special events and restoration activities.
  • Protecting resources through clean-ups, education tables & presence.
Your help is appreciated!

Training starts on Sunday, September 11th from 2-6pm, and is a month of Sundays and part days on Saturdays. We will then be ready for our 40th anniversary of Welcome Back Monarchs Day on October 9th, 2022!
