Opportunity Details
Work as a team along with three (3) Salud Para La Gente Community Health Services Department staffers to distribute the Second Harvest Food Bank food shipment every Friday!
Shifts will start at approximately 8:45/9:00 a.m. and finish up around noon/12:30, including set up and break down of the site (two canopies, three tables, place delivered food on tables, distribute to the community). Volunteers should be able to stand for 3 hours and lift 25 pounds of food onto a table.
The benefits of volunteering include a certificate of participation and tracking of participation hours.
