UCSC Early Education Services' Fall Harvest and Resource Festival

Volunteers are needed on October 25th to make this event a success!


This event is dedicated to supporting vulnerable student populations to help them know that the support of the community and the campus is out there to help them accomplish goals and give a better life for their families. It is also about reducing the stigma of being a non-traditional college student, letting them know that they don't have to hide, but can be active members in their community.

Volunteers are needed on October 25th for the following shifts:
  • 1pm - 5pm Set-up and Organization Check-In for Resource Fair
  • 3pm - 5pm welcoming guests and providing informational brochures and/or cooking
  •  6pm - 8pm clean up (may be done earlier).
Volunteers who are helping with setup or cleanup should be able to lift tables. Volunteers looking to guide guests and organizations should have great customer service skills (or willing to learn!). Volunteers looking to cook should have basic knowledge of food safety and cooking tasks.

All volunteers will receive a free meal at the event.
