Family Gardening Day

Help us tend to our Garden Learning Center! As a garden volunteer, you will help us with watering, weeding, pruning and replanting. You will also learn about sustainable gardening practices and California Native plants!

Our Garden Learning Center functions as a model of sustainable gardening practices, designed to reduce use of resources, increase ecological diversity, and keep harmful chemicals out of our watershed. We also bring school groups through the garden to explore plants used by local tribal groups for food, tools, medicine, and shelter.

If you sign up by November 15th you will be entered in a drawing for 4 all day Boardwalk tickets and 4 tickets to ride the train at Roaring Camp Railraod. Tickets will be delivered to winners when they volunteer.
