Office Volunteer at Elderday

Elderday is looking for effecient and organized individuals for administrative support in their office.

Elderday Adult Day Health center is dedicated to providing quality day care for Santa Cruz County's frail elderly adults, needing help with daily living tasks, and individuals with Alzheimer"s and related conditions. The purpose is to help our participants develop and maintain the highest level of independence and personal functioning. A major goal of Elderday is to prevent premature institutionalization of these individuals.

Volunteers assist with filing, copying, answering phones and organizing materials.

Individuals can volunteer between 9:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Volunteer shifts are 2 - 4 hours and volunteers sign up for a weekly shift.

Ideally volunteers would be efficient, organized, and professional when answering phones. Volunteers will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement, due to confidential status of some materials.

Spanish speaking would be helpful but is not required.
