Create Art with Seniors
Ageless Art Project volunteers are Artists and Crafts people who lead small groups of senior residents in care facilities to create art. Volunteers share their skills and artistic talent in a variety of mediums. Additionally, volunteers have the pleasure of seeing care facility residents experience an awakening of spirit, pride, and self-worth. It is this spark of positive feelings that both the volunteers and residents receive.
Ageless Art Project:
• Artist volunteers lead regularly scheduled art classes using various kinds of media
• Artists give ongoing support and make creative expression a positive experience
• Regular exhibitions of seniors’ artwork are displayed throughout Santa Cruz County.
