Suicide Crisis Hotline
Join our team of suicide crisis line volunteers! This is a rewarding experience where volunteers learn active listening skills, self-care and suicide and crisis intervention techniques.
For 50 years Suicide Prevention Service has been serving Monterey, Santa Cruz, and Benito County residents through our services, which include a 24-hour suicide crisis hotline. More than anything, people with thoughts of suicide need a safe place to express their thoughts and feelings and be heard.
Our Fall Training Session begins on October 16th, 2018!
Volunteers recieve 40+ hours of training on Tuesday evenings. After training volunteers commit to a four hour shift, once a week for one year.
