This project will help those who are experiencing homelessness in our community by providing the individuals who reside onsite to have a clean environment to live in. Cleaning the showers allows the individuals who access this service to obtain a basic human right of hygiene to obtain this in a clean and sanitary environment. Our mission is that Homeless Services Center partners with individuals and families to create pathways out of their homelessness into permanent housing. Join us for Make a Difference Day on October 28th from 9:30 am to 2pm! Volunteer activities include: - Landscaping cleanup (weeding, watering, garbage cleanup) - Hygiene bay cleaning (showers and storage space) - Washing sidewalks and cleaning benches - Cleaning fleet Van and 4 passenger cars. Volunteers will need close-toed shoes, water bottles and individual food items for snacking. We will have coffee and water refills available. Those working in landscaping may want to bring gloves.
