Organization Profile

180-2020 Santa Cruz

http://www.180santacruz.org

180/180 is a community effort in Santa Cruz County to help 180 homeless men and women turn their lives around. We've joined the national 100,000 Homes Campaign and have a goal to house 180 of our most vulnerable, long-term, chronically homeless men, women and families by July 2014. We will move them into permanent housing with the support services they need to stay housed, thereby changing lives and improving our community. Other volunteer opportunities available: Survey Tag Member: Join a group of trained Vulnerability Index survey volunteers to administer the survey. Various weekday opportunities in Santa Cruz and Watsonville. Spanish speakers needed. Move-In Crew: Help us move people into their new homes. Identify individual needs and help collect and deliver smaller household items and furniture. *special crew needed for heavy items.
