Community Alliance with Family Farmers

CAFF advocates for California's family farmers and sustainable agriculture. Help connect kids to local farms, support local agriculture, and teach kids about healthy eating practices! Volunteers can get involved with Farm to School in several ways: • Visit schools on a weekly basis to get kids excited about healthy eating and local food systems • Help develop nutrition education materials for elementary school students • Teach science, nutrition and agricultural concepts to 4th-graders on our field trips to local farms • Help prepare boxes of local produce to be delivered to classrooms in the region For more information or to sign up, check out our blog at farm2schoolvolunteers.blogspot.com or email us!
