Organization Profile

Small Gifts, Big Impact. The Santa Cruz chapter of Bread for the Journey is a small group of volunteers who raise money in our local community. Then, we give micro-grants to ordinary people – with extraordinary spirits – who have an idea to make our community more vital, healthy, and just, especially seeding creative startup projects to serve the underserved in our county. Our Mission To find people with strength and vision who are passionate about improving our community, and help them make it happen. Our Vision To nurture the seed of generosity that exists in every human heart. We are seeking volunteers to get involved as board members, assisting with fundraising, marketing and PR. To learn more about grants we've given and our opportunities, view our website www.santacruz.breadforthejourney.org and call Harriet Wrye, Founder, at (831) 684-9993.
