Transforming Together Event

The City of Santa Cruz Commission for the Prevention of Violence Against Women (CPVAW) has planned a one-day "awareness and prevention" conference called Transforming Together on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Louden Nelson Community Center. This is an all day event and we'll need volunteers throughout the day to help us run it!
Our goal is to bring women, men, and gender non-conforming citizens together in a collective effort to prevent sexual harassment, domestic violence, and sexual assault in our community.

Please sign up for a few hours or the entire day to help us out where you can. We greatly appreciate it.


VOLUNTEER SCHEDULE:

  • 7am to 9am: Morning set up and registration
  • 9am to 10am: Registration, usher in the auditorium, kitchen help, support tabling organizations
  • 10 am to 12pm: Registration, usher in the auditorium, kitchen help, support tabling organizations, support the "chill out" zone
  •  11:30 to 1:30: Collect donations for lunch and help with lunch service, support tabling organizations, support the "chill out" zone
  • 1pm -2pm: usher in the auditorium
  • 2pm -4pm: Registration, kitchen help, support tabling organizations, support the "chill out" zone
  • 4pm - 5pm: Registration, usher in the auditorium, kitchen help, support tabling organizations
  • 5pm - 6:30pm: Registration, End of day clean up.
