The Santa Cruz Volunteer Center will be hosting a cleanup of Main Beach from 9am to 11am on Saturday, July 21st and we hope you, your friends and family can make it!
Main Beach is a beloved and relaxing location for Santa Cruz locals and visitors alike. The beauty of this beach also attracts large crowds all year long, especially during busy summer months. Illegal fires, partying, and inappropriate disposal of trash has been harmful to local wildlife, neighbors and tourists. Help us monitor and clean up Main Beach!
Individual and group volunteers are welcome. The Volunteer Center provides all necessary supplies, and we encourage volunteers to bring their own reusable buckets, gloves, and water bottles, wear sturdy shoes, sun protection and to dress in layers.
Check in will be located above the beach at 108 Beach St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060 (across the street from the Picnic Basket)
We will be cleaning RAIN or SHINE!
We will meet at 9:00 AM next to the bathrooms between the vollyball nets and Ideal Bar and Grill. Sign up by responding below!
