Don’t just watch Law and Order, come be a part of the drama in real juvenile court cases, while gaining community service hours, with Santa Cruz Teen Peer Court.

The Santa Cruz County Office of Education (SCCOE) Teen Peer Court (TPC) program addresses, serves, and diverts first time juvenile offenders from the traditional juvenile justice system, while educating teen observers about the consequences of the crime. This program is offered to first time juvenile offenders ages 13 to 17, who’ve committed misdemeanor/minor felony offenses. 
 
No experience is necessary to be a teen peer juror. If you’re interested in law and the judicial process, this is a perfect opportunity to gain experience, while obtaining community service hours. 

Schedule- all hearings are from 4pm to 6pm and volunteers who would like to serve on the Jury should arrive by 3:45pm.
