Volunteers are needed to support our Live Oak summer sports program for kids. Volunteer are needed to be coaches, team managers, event volunteers, coach assitants, etc... and will make a difference in helping prepare our youth to perform to their maximum potential and most importantly, be a role model and teach life lessons. Volunteer duties may include communicating with families, attending a coach training, keeping track of youth progress, model good behaviour toward youth and adults, teach baseball (training provided), help create an organized atmosphere thats conducive to fun and learning, and provide non-competitive and equal opportunity environment. Shifts: One practice a week (monday-friday, volunteer can choose the day) for 1.5 hours. And 1.5-2 hours on Saturdays for games. The program runs from June 10th to August 22nd. No experience or specific skills needed! We provide training, and excellent support for our volunteers. Volunteer at become a part of the San Francisco Giants organization.
