Would you like to help Life Lab with this year's Spring Benefit Brunch? The Benefit Brunch, which will be held on June 3, 2017 at the UCSC Hay Barn, raises funds for programs that inspire thousands of local children to love learning, healthy food, and nature through our garden-based programs. Our benefit is put on entirely by our staff and volunteers like you. Unlike many other fundraising events, we don't hire a staff of strangers to set everything up, prep and serve the food, clean up, etc. Because our volunteers demonstrate their dedication to Life Lab's mission by doing all of these important jobs, the event is even more special and personal for our guests. We are so grateful for our volunteers--and we hope you can join us this year! Our greatest need is for a big crew of volunteers on the day of the brunch, Saturday, June 3, with one shift starting at 8am and another at 1pm. If you've got lots of energy, we'd also welcome you to join us from 8am to about 3pm. If you have time earlier in the week, we'll also need help setting up the venue on Friday, June 2, and with other preparations on Tuesday through Thursday, May 30 - June 1.
