Cesar Chavez Day at the Homeless Garden Project

Join us at the farm for Cesar Chavez Day of Service
Friday, March 31, 9:45am - 2pm

Wear closed-toe shoes, and we recommend that everyone wear a hat, layers, and bring a water bottle. 

Check-in between 9:45 am - 10am. 
Opening Circle will begin promptly at 10am 

Two special guests - Cesar Chavez's grandchildren, Juan Chavez Villarino & Julia Chavez Villarino. 

Lunch will be provided. 
Thank you to El Palomar for contributing to the meal!
Mayor Cynthia Chase will be joining us for lunch to speak about Santa Cruz's commitment to support migrant workers and immigrant families in our community.



The farm is located on Shaffer Road at Delaware Ave. on the west side of Santa Cruz near Natural Bridges State Park and the Long Marine Lab. 
The 3 and 20 bus lines stop nearby.
