Opportunity Details
Join Ecology Action at one of our monthly Bike/Walk to School sites! We have 7 school sites including: Mission Hill Middle School, New Brighton Middle School, Shoreline Middle School, Westlake Elementary School, Del Mar Elementary School, HA Hyde Elementary School, and Ann Soldo Elementary School. On a monthly basis, Ecology Action coordinators host an event on each of the 7 campuses where students receive snacks and are entered into a raffle to win fun prizes such as helmets, locks, lights, t-shirts, and more. Additional incentives such as free bike maintenance from local bike shops is also offered at specific sites. On average, 1,000 students participate every month.
